Council Road Women formed a much loved new ministry last year called The Table. We began this ministry not knowing how desperate we would all be for community when the Covid-19 virus would rearrange our world. What a wonderful gift The Table was to our women as we battled loneliness, loss of jobs, sickness, fear and anxiety, plans being disrupted, family heartaches, and so much more.
Hello Friends! So, we have been in this quarantine status for a little while, which means, at least for me, rewatching some of my favorite movies. It’s no surprise to my friends that some of my favorite movies are adapted from books. Here is a brief list of some of my favorite paper to film choices!
Hopefully by now, you’ve heard about Whiz Kids coming to Council Road in August! I am so excited and wish August was TOMORROW. We have been praying over at The CUBE for a long time about what’s next for this space. We felt a pull that there was something more for us and began looking into a lot of different options and going on site tours. As soon as we sat down to meet with Whiz Kids, we knew it was right.
I placed the five loaves of specialty bread in the brown paper sacks with the five personalized cards to match. This is a great idea. Thomas and I had just celebrated one year of wedded bliss in Europe— romantic strolls through Paris, skydiving in the Swiss Alps, galavanting through Germany.
