Share Our Home and Our Hearts: Interview with Daysha B.

Behymer Family-0022.jpg

During the month of February, our Council Road Women’s Ministry is talking about sharing the love. Not just chocolate-hearts-and-roses kind of “Valentisey love”, but all the ways we humans love. We’re chatting about married life, single life, loving God and loving others. As I think of love, I immediately think of sacrifice. Obviously as believers we know of the ultimate sacrifice—the life of Jesus—where God paid for our lives. But isn’t sacrifice involved in our attempts to love as well?

When I think of sacrificial love, I think of my friends, Daysha Behymer. She and her husband knew they wanted to have a family, but had no idea the sacrifice it would require. In this week’s podcast, Daysha shares candidly about delivering two very pre-term baby boys and and the journey of adopting their third child.

Uniquely Beautiful Stories with Heather McAnear
Ep. 2: Interview with Daysha B.

I know you will be encouraged by the obvious ways God demonstrated His love to the Behymer family during very difficult circumstances. Daysha said she held on dearly to Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope hope and assurance about what we do not see.” She knew she wanted to share their home and their hearts with one more child, and clung to hope during circumstances out of her control.

I hope Daysha’s story encourages you to go out and fully live your uniquely beautiful life, sharing the love with those God brings across your path.
