Hey everyone!! Whether you have lived in Oklahoma for 16 years or 16 months, OKC continues to evolve. There are some fantastic places in Oklahoma City to eat, fellowship, & gather together.
I am going to share my top ten here. I am rating the restaurants based on taste, price, atmosphere, parking ability, and kid friendliness (as I know it can be a struggle sometimes!). I am also including some bonus dessert places you MUST check out! So let’s get to it!

Price: 4 out of 10
Atmosphere: 8 out of 10
Kid Friendly: 9 out of 10
Parking: 9 out of 10
TOTAL: 37 out of 50Sunnyside Diner can also be found in a couple of locations, including the heart of Oklahoma City. Despite the name, you’ll find the inside of this establishment as modern, clean, and put together. Although there are some diverse options on the menu, I lean towards getting the classic eggs, bacon, and toast here. Be sure to get some of the coffee— it is local and tastes so good!

Offerings include a mixture between ramen and noodles. You are given several different options to put in your bowl and then they prepare your choices for you. I highly recommend Noodee OKC!

Price: 4 out of 10
Atmosphere: 10 out of 10
Kid Friendly: 6 out of 10
Parking: 5 out of 10
TOTAL: 34 out of 50Barrios is fine mexican dining. Here you can find authentic latino food with a midwestern flavor. The atmosphere is modern and beautiful with unique and ornate designs. Definitely try the queso with chorizo.
BONUS: DESSERTS!
Besides the previously mentioned Cuppies & Joe, which sells delicious desserts made fresh daily and locally brewed coffee in a delightful cozy atmosphere, here are some of my dessert favs:
Hurts Donuts
I recommend the maple bacon donut with a tall glass of milk. Hurts Donuts is a gourmet donut shop that serves crazy options like the dirt and worms donuts!
Roxy's Ice Cream
Everytime I go to Roxy’s I get one scoop of the Salted Caramel in a cone! It is sooo good! Confession; I have not tried any other flavors because I love this one so much!
The Baked Bear
Although the Baked Bear is in Yukon I would say it is worth it if you are feeling adventurous. I have definitely driven from OKC to Yukon just for one of their ice cream cookie sandwiches (Imagine a warm brownie on bottom, a warm cookie on top, and a scoop of salted caramel ice cream in between!)
Capitals Ice Cream
Capitals is a ritzy ice cream place located close to Hall’s pizza. You may choose one of the mixes or you can create your own by choosing a combination of cereal, cookies, or fruit. This ice cream place is good for all, including those with gluten allergies or who are lactose intolerant!! There are options!!
Whether you decide breakfast food, fancy date night, something in between or dessert only, I pray the evening treats you well!
Where are some of your favorite places to eat in OKC?
