Last month, we shared some unconventional holiday bucket list ideas related to Fall. Now we’re back to share more fun ideas related to Christmas. Remember, the main goal is to enjoy and celebrate the season—not stress yourself out running from one activity to the next.
Along with our ideas below, we also have some fun holiday freebies for you! Use this super cute and FREE printable, designed by the lovely Marissa Crowson, to make your own bucket list. While making your list, get into the Christmas spirit by listening to the perfect holiday Spotify playlist for CRBC Women and Friends, created by Hannah, called “Christmas Sounds.” Click here to listen.
A few ideas for your Christmas bucket list:
Support local businesses at the Holiday Pop-up Shops in Midtown
Visit a Christmas Tree Farm — I have fond childhood memories of going to Christmas tree farms every year with my family (Mary).
Read an advent devotional with friends or family
Stock up on ugly Christmas sweaters — Goodwill is a great place to look!
Go ice skating in downtown OKC
Run in the Sandridge Santa Run 5K
Ride the Holiday Water Taxis with friends
Read a classic holiday book by the fire — Like “A Christmas Carol” or “The Gifts of the Christ Child”
Watch all the holiday classics
Avoid Hallmark movies at all cost — That’s Hannah… she’s missing out!
Get creative with wrapping Christmas presents
Hand make Christmas cards
Make a goody tray for the church staff or your neighbors
Make a Christmas Waiting Chain
Sit in a mall food court, with coffee in hand, and people-watch all the Christmas shoppers… in a non-creepy way (Hannah’s idea… kind of genius)
Give a Christmas card to an unsung hero at the office
This is barely scratching the surface of holiday bucket list items. Let us know what you pick, and what other fun ideas you may have. Share in the comments below!
